STEEL BRAIDED:
Mid-price, stainless steel braids make an encasement around a rubber hose. They are durable, more likely to not burst than reinforced rubber. However, if there is a kink or bend in the hose it will cause issues. Look for a hose with an elbow to prevent this.

These are top of the line, Stainless steel braided hoses that has a shut off mechanism; it senses a difference in pressure and automatically shuts off, tremendously reduce the size of your flood.
Overview:
- Reinforced rubber: Replace every 3-5 years, standard with washing machines. Higher failure rate.
- Steel braided rubber hose: very strong, not very flexible, less failure rate.
- Auto Shut off Stainless Steel Braided hose: Strong, added security, most expensive, least failure rate, contains damage.
