Hallway carpet removal after a hot water heater leak in apartment unit - Rosedale, Maryland, USA

This flooded apartment hallway was the result of a hot water heater leak. The hot water leak affected 2 bedrooms, this hallway, as well as the utility room where the water heater was located. SERVPRO of Perry Hall/White Marsh removed the carpet, sampled the carpet and sent it to materials testing facility in Florida where the lab result provided both the insured and the adjuster with the value of the carpet so the carpet could be replaced. Both the insured and the insurance company were thrilled to have an easy, fair way to negotiate replacement of their hallway carpet.
